In 2021 my last year of middle school I joined the yearbook club. The club provided us cameras to take pictures of school events. I on the other hand took advantage of this and used the camera to take pictures of my friends. I enjoyed being able to catch a glimpse of my friends while they were in class but I did not really know how to use the camera buttons. This project shows the first few shots I took in middle school and on a trip to Washington DC. Using flash and having dark quality was a big mistake, seeing how the pictures would end up; I lost the motivation to continue taking pictures. On my DC trip to see the cherry blossom festival my camera died after I used it for a while and I ended up not using it for the rest of the year.
